When the sun shines
And the dwindling dew disappears
In the blue sapphire skies
The pearl in the East rises with it
To bring laughter to the less fortunate
Giving back to the society
Masking the untold sorrows
With a glow of untold smiles
BAM CARE, cares for all
In the throbbing waves of the ocean
By the incessant throb of the waves
A hidden wave rises without falling
A wave of hope for humanity
Enshrined in humility for eternity
A living wave for the living
Bringing smiles and rays of hope
A shoulder to lean on for the less fortunate
Found at one stop point
BAM CARE, cares for all
In the romance of the woven lines
Is the platform for the poets in the East
In the rhymes and thymes
Of the heart soothing lines
By the BAM CARES poets
Is the love beyond measure
A home beyond physical home
A magical planet for those drunk in art
A freedom zone
For the caged humanity
A tender touch, for the scotched souls
BAM CARE, cares for all
As the first drops of rain
Kisses the dry soil in perfect love
As the hamattans from the North
Ignites a rhythmic dance on the twigs,
As the notes of the guitar
Leads the head to nod in acceptance,
So is BAM CARES
Awakening the slept minds,
Igniting the lost hopes,
Bringing back the lost glory
For the again we shall all rise
We shall sprout again and thrive
For BAM CARES, cares for all
ABOUT THE POET
Ayieko Jakoyo is a Kenyan citizen by birth. He is a teacher by profession and a published poet. He is the author of the best-selling poetry anthology “RETURN THE BRIDE PRICE.” Ayieko is a scholar with Bachelor’s degree in education and diploma in accountancy. He is currently pursuing master’s degree in Business Administration and diploma in counselling psychology. Ayieko is an academic strategist running an organization called CHAMPIONS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE, an academic consultancy working with over 300 schools in Kenya. His ambitions and great zeal for success have been the major pillars that have helped him move from one level to another with the dream of becoming the best academic consultant in the Sub- Sahara and beyond.
