1. Tell us something about yourself. Who are you as a person? What are your likes and dislikes?

 

In short, I’m a fun-loving guy, trying to be the center of attraction...ha-ha, a decent guy with a genuine daily routine.

As a person it’s very simple and complex, I live a very normal & simple life, but as a writer, I observe everything logically. I like to read, draw and dance.

   

2. When were you first bitten by the writer’s bug? Who or what inspired you to take up writing?

‘Please Don’t Stop Loving Me’ (An anthology by NANDITA RANI GIRI) was my 1st project as a writer (a few months ago). A very small step, but it inspires me a lot to move forward. Thanks, Nandita for inspiring me.

 

3. What do you do and how has it influenced your poetry? 

I am a student. As we all know that we get very fascinated towards LOVE in our early 20s, it inspires me to write in the ROMANCE genre.   

 

4. As an author, where do you see yourself five years from now?

Author of a bestselling book, giving autographs to my fans, that’s all I want. 

 

5. How do you face Writers' Block? What motivates you to keep writing?

For me, ‘Writers’ block’ is basically running out of ideas and we get stuck somewhere, I take a break exploring the world and coming back to the desk with a bunch of possibilities to go ahead. 

My motivation is my love, that's running inside me; urge to come out through my pen. You can clearly see it in my writings. As a romance genre writer, I always think to reflect the LOVE I see everywhere.

 

6. How writing has built you?

Writing makes me feel alive and gives me positive vibes. Those increase my confidence and vision. It’s a part of me. 

 

7. What are your Achievements? Awards, if any? 

It’s quite a secret, but I can only say that my achievement is people's happiness. 

 

8. Tell us a bit about how much time you spend in a day on writing. Are you a disciplined writer or a spontaneous one?

It’s about 3 to 4 hrs, thinking, writing it down, making corrections, then rewriting till the best expressive way. Yes, I’m a disciplined writer.   

 

9. Are you a reader yourself? What are some of your favorite books?

I just love books, me; a book worm.

 My all-time fav books are: ‘THE WEDDING DATE’, and ‘THE PROPOSAL’ by JASMINE GUILLORY, ‘UGLY LOVE’ by COLLEN HOOVER

 

10. Reading in the mountains or reading on the beach?

Love to read in the mountains, with the sound of birds and waterfall — it's very relaxing.

 

11. A quote that never fails to motivate you.

The first one is, “Start writing no matter what.’’

Another one says, “You can always edit a bad page. You can’t edit a blank page.”

14. Any new projects that you are currently working on?

My upcoming romance novel, “MY MASTERPIECE”. 

 

15. When did you write your first book/poem and how old were you?

I was 14! 

 

16. What do you like to do when you're not writing?

Mostly reading and moving around with my friends.

 

17. What does your family think of your writing?

They believe what I believe about my writing and they encourage me a lot.
